TESSCO Wins 2006 Deal of the Year

Acquisition of TerraWave and GigaWave Recognized for Business Impact, Teamwork and Job Growth

HUNT VALLEY, MD, November 14, 2006 - TESSCO Technologies Incorporated (Nasdaq:TESS), a value-added supplier of the product solutions needed to design, build, run, maintain and use wireless systems, is the recent recipient of the Maryland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) 2006 Deal of the Year Award.

During the Maryland Chapter of the ACG’s annual event held in Baltimore on November 1, 2006 at The B&O Railroad Museum, TESSCO took top honors in the Services sector for its April-2006 acquisition of TerraWave Solutions and GigaWave Technologies. The ceremony showcased nine different companies as finalists across three different business sectors (Manufacturing; Technology; Services) and honored business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, alliances and IPO's, that have impacted the Baltimore region, as well as the accomplishments of all the key participants in the transaction.

Robert Barnhill, chairman, president and CEO of TESSCO Technologies accepted the award on behalf of all TESSCO, TerraWave and GigaWave team members. In his recognition of the award, Mr. Barnhill praised the “partnership” that has resulted since the original transaction was identified and planned.
