GigaWave Technologies Is Your Source for Physical Security Courses Using Cisco Technology

Las Vegas, NV, July 11, 2011 - GigaWave Technologies®, a Division of TESSCO Technologies, is offering Physical Security courses that are specifically designed for Cisco’s Physical Security suite of products such as the Cisco Physical Access Control management application and Cisco’s IP Video Surveillance hardware and software.

The Cisco Physical Access Manager (CPAM) course teaches professionals how to configure Cisco Physical Access Gateways and Modules, monitor activity, enroll users and integrate with I.T. applications and data stores.

Upon completion of the Cisco IP Video Surveillance Solutions (IPVS) course, professionals will be able to install, configure, operate and maintain Cisco IP Surveillance components, VSM, VMSS as well as analog and digital cameras.

The Cisco IP Interoperability and Communications System (IPICS) course is an overview of Cisco’s IPICS system that can facilitate coordinated incident management and response for emergencies and day-to-day operations across multiple agencies, jurisdictions or departments. Professionals will learn design, configuration, maintenance and trouble-shooting skills for the Cisco IPICS solution that enables communications between radio handsets, IP phones, landline phones, mobile phones and PC software.
