GigaWave Technologies Launches New Version of Cisco Unified Wireless Networking Course

Las Vegas, NV, July 11, 2011 - GigaWave Technologies®, a Division of TESSCO Technologies, is launching version 7.1 of the Cisco Unified Wireless Networking (CUWN) course. The latest version of the class provides labs utilizing Cisco equipment with controller firmware release 7.1 as well as Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS) software release 7.1 - ensuring that wireless professionals receive the most up-to-date education with the new software releases. Available via classroom and virtual learning, the CUWN v7.1 course teaches network professionals how to deploy a WLAN enterprise solution through the identification and successful implementation of site-appropriate hardware and software features in a Cisco Unified Wireless Network.

Students will receive an overview of the CUWN product line as well as learn installation procedures for access points (APs) and their associated Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs). Upon completion of the course, professionals will know how to administer CUWN, 802.11 security policies and utilize Quality of Service (QoS) properly to protect and maximize wireless network performance.
