GigaWave Technologies Announces New "Managing Your WLAN With The CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine" Curriculum![]() New Cisco authorized curriculum teaches attendees how to design, install and support CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine in an advanced wirless network SAN ANTONIO, TX, March 16, 2005 - GigaWave Technologies announced today that it will offer a new advanced, two-day training course titled Managing Your WLAN With The CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE). This is the first Cisco Aironet® wireless training course focused solely on WLSE and will give attendees the knowledge to install, configure, manage, maintain and troubleshoot the CiscoWorks WLSE. This class is intended for technical engineers, network integrators and technical sales personnel that want to design, install, support and sell the CiscoWorks WLSE. Classes will be available in March 2005 in locations throughout the country by GigaWave Technologies, an authorized Cisco Systems Learning Partner. After completing the course, attendees will be able to set up and configure WLSE and devices that work with WLSE. This hands-on lab will also allow attendees to perform device discovery, inventory polling and grouping, wireless device configuration management, firmware management, access point (AP) configuration and configuration archival, set-up and monitor fault and security policies, generate fault and management reports, set up and run radio management features and use WLSE troubleshooting tools. "CiscoWorks WLSE is a core component of the Cisco Structured Wireless-Aware Network, and we're very excited to see this new in-depth lab training become available for customers and channel partners so they can gain hands-on experience with all the advanced features on this key wireless LAN management tool," said Shripati Acharya, Director of Product Management of Cisco's Wireless Networking Business Unit.
